Here is what you will need to be able to have a FREE tutoring session with me:
You will need to be on Skype so if you don’t already have it you will have to get it on your device (click the button below). Choose your device at the top of the screen, then click on the arrow next to the blue button below the list of devices and look for the exact version you need and select it.
Once I receive your email requesting a tutoring session (you do this in the “Contact Me” page of this website), I will need to add you to my Skype Contact list by using your email address. I will call you at our scheduled Skype session time and all you have to do is accept the call by clicking on the Video icon.
You will need to connect to ziteboard.com on the Internet (you can click on the button below). I recommend you do this before our first session. Ziteboard is an online whiteboard where we can both write on so I can show you how to solve any problem you are working on. You can also download documents (i.e. homework, study guides, etc.) so we can both see them at the same time.
When you connect to the ziteboard website for the first time, you will need to do a FREE sign up with ziteboard. It’s super fast and easy! Just click on “Log In” at the upper right of the screen, choose “Sign Up” and type in your name and email. That’s it! You will only have to do this once.
Once we are having our scheduled tutoring session on Skype, I will create a whiteboard for us to use and I will invite you to share it with me. I will send you this invitation as a link in the “Chat” part of our Skype session and all you will have to do is click on the link and you will see the whiteboard right away. It is very easy to use!
This might all seem like a lot to do but it is actually very fast and easy. Hopefully, you will agree that it is all worthwhile to get FREE Math tutoring!
